Sunday, March 9, 2014 - I'm with Bevetroppo this time: age has not been kind to this. Could be my palate's moved as much as the wine, but this is showing - to me - as overripe and disjointed. Though it''s still got decent acidity, that seems somehow out of sync with the high alcohol and the somewhat pruney fruit, so it doesn't gracefully balance so much as wobble around as each element in turn starts to topple the tower over in its direction. Glad this was my last.
