COLOR: Opaque garnet with medium-garnet rim
NOTE: This is very Schrader-esque. It's great on pop-n-pour and just gets better as it gets more air. The nose ping-pongs between black and red berry fruits, featuring saigon cinnamon and oiled leather along the way. Hints of black peppered beef jerky. Mouth is rich but so elegant, more in the red fruit spectrum from here on out, like a wonderful mix of macerated red raspberries and pomegranate seeds. The finish picks up serious 70% dark chocolate as it glides along the red fruit for about 45 seconds. This is a great wine. Second time having it in about 6 weeks thanks to my Coravin. This is great now and will prob last another 5-8 years.
