Saturday, December 22, 2012 - Excellent wine. I was expecting a much bigger, bolder wine but as pleasantly surprised by the soft, inviting character it displayed. Very gamey cook fruit notes were powerfully obvious, along with an intense stone dust aroma. Very similar notes on the palate. This went beautifully with strip steaks and veggies with bacon in them.
