Sunday, November 30, 2014 - Deep, dark ruby color. Inviting nose of black cherries, plums, violet, and rich chocolate. Smooth on the palate, but still somewhat tight. Ripe tannins, acidity that balances nicely with the fruit. Medium-plus finish. While enjoyable now, this wine will improve significantly over the next 10-15 years.
