Monday, April 11, 2022 - I think this is a better wine now than upon release even though it may be a bit past the peak. Light rim of violet. Nose is tepid at first, but some red and blue fruit can be coaxed out with a little effort. Palate is well balanced. Fruit is supported by classic cab secondary flavors of cigar box, wet forest, and cedar. Not big and flashy, but solid and enjoyable to drink. I would drink now. Tannins and acidity are fine, but not robust at this point.
