Thursday, July 19, 2012 - Blind tasted. Served at 13°C, wich is a good idea. Nose of extracted red fruit, caramel, and sweat corn dairy soup. Mouth sappy of a new world cabernet, but with a gentle sweat finish wich signs the grape type for me. My French guests enjoyed it but had few glasses because of its weight. Personnatly I liked it for the balance, the well management of the freshness, and the interesting story behind the bottle. It is remarquable that even with this so ancient vines, the north america still add new oak and extraction. A good and enjoyed experience, thanks to capt Cutlass.
