Monday, May 25, 2015 - Room temp. Opened 1 hour, no decant. Much different experience than other tasting notes. Deep blackish red. Nice nose of forest floor and fruit. Fair amount of mellowed blue/black/plum fruit on palate with some dirt and mineral. Full bodied, tending toward fat but with just a few tannins holding it all together. Mature now, not sure what will happen to it now. No acid. Medium finish. Maybe better than other bottles reviewed by luck or in cellar since bought in 2010. Great with grilled burgers.
