Saturday, November 3, 2018 - Decanted, mod debris, immediate and 2 hours. Benefitted from the 2 hours (did not test how long needed). Initially rough tannins and a bit awkward, later very smooth and delicious. Nose of dark fruit and earth. Mature wine with medium, smooth, almost velvety mouth feel with persistent fruit and some spice, pepper. Probably at peak, improved from 2015 and 2016.
