Thursday, April 11, 2024 - I must admit, this has finally aged. However, it does fizzle out in 3 hours. Which means, this is it. To me, this is at peak. Drink it and enjoy the rich, St. Emilion like vibe via Pauillac. Drink...

The lord knows I bought a shitload of both and they are all quietly in deep sleep in my offsite storage. I just hope its not coma, followed by death. Not a big fan of the big wines from Bordeaux for long term aging. Im a classic fool...Or just a fool for buying so much 2009/2010

Ie Very approachable at a relatively young age, and then become seriously interesting wine. I have just revisited my left bank 2003s, and they are really starting to grow up. I had a 2003 Léoville Barton a couple of nights ago, and it was tertiary, and glorious.

I just found and bought 4 bottles....Some 03 are fan fuging tastic, and others are tired already. Really surprised by how fast the first growths in 03 matured....
