Thursday, March 28, 2024 - Decanted for 3 hours. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about this wine (as I have quite a few bottles of it). I had my last bottle about 7 years ago and it was really (as some critics say) very "Californian". Don't get me wrong, nothing against wines from there (I like that too), but when I open a Bordeaux, I would also like to drink Bordeaux. In any case, the wine surprised me in a positive way. This time it was quickly clear that it was a Bordeaux. The wine has developed well, is still young and, in my opinion, still has the potential to develop (even) better. 94-95 pts. at the moment.
