Sunday, October 9, 2016 - Untypical to st. Emilion appellation this vinery has more gravel soil (flint) like rive gauche - similar to cheval blanc - so a CS heavy medoc style wine. Blend is 1/3 each merlot, CF and CS. Produce 160k bottles.
Wine is very complex, dark fruit, superbly integrated tannins with good acidity balance. Very round and deep wine. Great vintage.
