Sunday, November 28, 2021 - Double decanted the wine and let him breathe for another four hours, which seemed necessary to us. Great nose with a nice complexity and different layers of black fruits underlayered with vanilla and mushrooms. On the palate very elegant and quite in the style of the chateau. Nice depth also here, tannins were surprisingly integrated in a very smooth way we thought. Medium acidity, very approachable at the moment, we thought it's not absolutely necessary to wait any longer. Great wine, however with his elegance not typical for right bank 2009.
