Tuesday, January 16, 2024 - Wow. This is just stunning. Really has come together after a slightly disjointed youth. Stunning balance and mouthfeel. Ripe and heathy and glossy fruit. So much Merlot but so much depth and texture. So different from Pomerol with a same Merlot composition. Very thought provoking and profound.Needs more time to develop aromatics but this is a great Palmer!!

1/22/2024 1:44:00 AM - Chateau suggested a 2 hour decant which I think was a good suggestion and to serve at 65F (cellar temperature) and then it will warm slightly to ambient temperature in the glass over the course of the evening. Too young for the Palmer perfume to show at this stage but what a glass of wine it is!
