Friday, December 9, 2022 - Deep garnet,black opaque core. Médoc aromas of black fruit, cedar, cigar, dried leaves wood. Dry-off dry, medium(-) acidity with black fruit, blueberry jam, bay leaf, licorice, earth all framed by firm tannins. Medium(+)-full body, 14% abv. Depth and concentrated with exciting and smooth finish showcasing the fruit and tannins. Balance par excellence.
Excellent overall. Lilian Ladouys is an exceptional Cru Bourgeois indeed.
