Monday, October 20, 2014 - Holy cow, two years have done wonders for this wine! Splash decanted and then served 30 minutes later. The palate is explosive with black fruits, some minerals, and chocolate. The nose is dominated by leather and cedar. I disagree completely with the previous comments that say this tastes more like California than Bordeaux. This is clearly Bordeaux.

Very approachable now but will easily last another 10-15 years. What a fabulous wine for the original $20 price tag.
