Saturday, July 11, 2020 - This was our first bottle and overall a good experience. Decanted for 2 hours, some sediment. A lot of dark berries and hints of vanilla on the nose. Secondary aromas clearly emerging at this stage. The wine is in great balance, tannins have softened, oak very well integrated, just a touch of smoke flavors. Paired well with brie and fig jam. Ready to drink, but doesn’t appear this would fade any time soon. 91-92
