Sunday, November 8, 2015 - Nice California Sparkling Wine. Pale yellow straw coloring and tiny bubbles. Crisp nose, yeasty effervescence with apple, flowery overtone; Taste appropriately tart, mineral and citrus. Has a hint of sweetness (for a Brut) but not unpleasantly so. Well-balanced with a dry, lingering finish. Always good, a reasonably priced 'go-to' champagne for every-day celebratory occasions. Good Price/Value at around $15 avg price (purchased on sale (ho! ho! ho!) @ "Social" Safeway for $20). 86 pts.
