Saturday, March 21, 2009 - My first of the 02's. Wonderful great acidity, and tropical fruits. I remember tasting it at the Leewin/Sunset Corners Ritz Carlton, Coconut Grove Tasting a few years ago, when it was released, and how the 100+ other attendees, thought it wanting vs the 98. They just didn't realize how beautifully this wine develops with age. I recently read where the 04 as a ringer at an Executive Wine Seminars Battle of Paris blew away all the other prized entrants.Still is my favorite chardonnay on the planet.
