Saturday, May 15, 2021 - Served blind. I thought this was Pauillac at first, with cedar spice and tobacco notes (pichon baron) but after 30mins or so was more plump(and once I knew there was merlot) with the oak notes integrating. Still showed rather remarkable depth, darker fruited but lovely Spicy toaccco aromatics. Seemed to be at peak to me.
