Saturday, April 15, 2017 - Full body. Dark purple color with ever so slight bricking. Big cassis nose with a touch of chocolate and vanilla. Still quite tannic. Dusty. Very primary dark fruit flavor profile. The wine has many (7+) years ahead of it, and it will need it to resolve the tannins. The finish is a bit alcoholic. Decant a few hours before drinking. Needs air and has sediment. 14.9% abv.
