Saturday, July 25, 2015 - Drank side by side with an '09 guiraud during a mini horizontal. This wine is a darker golden brown than the guiaurd. This wine shows less Sauvignon blanc on the nose and overall had a softer nose. More vibrant and fresh fruit than the guiraud on the nose. Fresh peaces and nectarines on the nose. Light body for the varietal and much less viscous than the guiraud. Overall sweetness is significantly lower than the guiraud. Losada of citrus fruit and astringency on the finish. Cleaner, subtler and less sweet finish. More fresh grape on the pallet. At the same price point, the guiraud is the better buy.
