Tuesday, December 31, 2013 - The wine was from a 375ml bottle. Color, dark garnet red with a saturated rim showing a slight orange hue. Pleasant, dark fruit, blackberry, raspberry aromas with a chaser of light, sweet oak. This is an aromas you could enjoy for hours. Bold flavors of rose and dark fruit with big, full mouth feel. Smooth tannins. Medium long finish with a little white pepper at the end.

There were abundant crystals on the cork and a fair amount of sediment in the bottle. Care should be take to decant before drinking.
