Sunday, February 21, 2010 - Medium ruby/garnet core, wide pale rim. Mellow nose with ripe plum and dark cherry. Fragrant with some spice and autumnal notes. Medium bodied with sweet, slightly bruised plum and berry fruits, very fine, fully resolved tannins, an attractive hint of gaminess on the long, savoury, fresh finish. Nice transparency and purity here, a lovely drink, drinking well now but no hurry.
