Sunday, January 26, 2014 - PNP. cork perfect. color crimson. nose mostly secondary with mostly tobacco and cedar. swishing shows this to have significant tannin structure still intact. sipping this however you would never know it. the dark fruit is still lurking there among the soft secondaries and totally tames the tannin. medium long polished finished. this is one of the better aged California cabs that I have tasted in awhile, and in absolutely no hurry for this (properly stored). a total delight with dinner tonight. cant wait until two years from now (one of 2 bday wines) to try this again.
