Monday, December 13, 2021 - Dark transparent red, almost black --- Nose elegant, nice wood notes, cedar box, black fruit, darkness, underbrush, burnt wood, tar, some liquorice --- Palate fresh, vivid, wonderful acidity, red fruit, sour cherry, some white pepper, cardboard, astringent, black tea, very nice bark aspects, flowery aspects --- Finishes on tart aspects and minerality, fruit flashing back. I am impressed, did not expect this level of quality, very nice development, somewhat rustic while classic Bordeaux. Very nice.
