Friday, June 17, 2022 - Hint of menthol on opening, normally a good sign for me.
Decanted for a couple of hours.
Nice amount of fruit; cherry and plum.
Very dry tannins, dry but delightful.

After 3.5 hours in the decanter it evolves beautifully. The initial fruit fades a bit and a concentrated cassis develops alongside tertiary notes of liquorice, leather and warmth.
The dryness subsides....it all works.

This is great. Highly recommended.
