Community Tasting Note

Tuesday, February 5, 2013 - I would liked to have given this bottle more opportunity to breathe prior to drinking it. I brought it to a restaurant however and couldn't very well have it open before hand. We decanted about an hour before drinking.

The wine was tight at the start with a sharp but pleasant nose. It continued to blossom as time went on with the best tastings coming near the end at around the two to two and a half hour mark. Blackberry and cranberry notes coming through the center.

There's upside with this vintage and I will probably wait a couple or a few years before tasting again.
