Friday, July 30, 2010 - This chardonnay has a pale yellow color to it. Nothing impressive in this regard. On the nose, we have some pineapple, green apple, nectarine, and some light butter. It is quite tropical with some pleasant aromas. On the palate the story gets twisted. Crisp green apple, with loads of citrus, light butter and some subtle banana. The finish is awful being extensively acidic. I wasn't very found of this wine and I will never buy it again. It just doesn't have the depth and butter texture I was looking for that I usually find in an excellent chardonnay.
