Tuesday, February 21, 2017 - Fruit diminishing on the nose a bit as expected with a 9 year old wine. Faint hints of blackberry and dried cherry. Definitively lighter than I remember it being 3 or 4 years ago this wine is flexible to be sipped or firm enough to stand up to some meats. Starting to thin out a bit for my tastes in zinfandel so I'd suggest drinking before the year end.
