Thursday, February 26, 2015 - P&P and consumed over 2 hours. First glass opened up after about 15 minutes after the Vinturi. Mike O's wines never cease to impress and are always a killer QPR. Blue and black fruits, plum, with a touch of singed marshmallow flow through to a delectable mid-palate of smoked blue fruit, pepper, cinnamon, and sweet rhubarb (is that even a thing?) with a medium finish and just perfectly balanced. I adore Carlisle wines.
