Ripe and rather soft tannins, very fruity for Saint-Estephe, blackberries and cassis, but with typical licorice, oak and tobacco flavors. Lots of fruit and flavors, not overly tannic and not the most structured or complex wine. Really nice with red meats. Good value Bordeaux. Good now, but will hold. - 88 points
