Saturday, November 27, 2021 - Deep blackish red. Classic claret nose, dusty and lead shavings, with black fruit interwoven. Had not planned to open but earlier bottle left something to be desired - this was much better, much closer to what I wanted with the meal. Did not find this tannic or hot as others have noted, thought it was in a nice spot, well integrated, good balance of smooth palate vs a little structure still. With roast lamb.
