Sunday, May 22, 2022 - Eleventh of twelve. Opened on the spur of the moment three days ago, and after pouring one glass, I vacuum sealed it and put it in the fridge. Surprisingly, this is shining on day three. It has lost a half a step, perhaps, but it’s still very cohesive and balanced—better than day one in fact—with soft tannins, a good concentration of aging, plummy fruit and cassis, and a little undergrowth. There has been a lot of bottle variation in this case, but this is exactly what I wanted from this wine when I bought it. Very nice. 14% AVB. (Very good; above average; distinguished/***/15.5/90)
