Sunday, July 25, 2010 - Just a quick follow-up, this verdejo tasted great on a Summer afternoon with ripe Calif. nectarines (piece of nectarine, sip of wine, repeat ... repeat). Also mixed cold spring water with the wine 33-66% and 50-50 and liked that, too. Verdejo comes from NW Spain, not too far from where Godello and Albarino originate. Not sure if Rueda's climate is drier than Galicia, but the regions are nearby. I'm a fan of all three grapes now.
