Sunday, February 28, 2010 - Expressive nose with some signs of development. After 6 hrs in the decanter a clear cassis component with restrained oak and some light cedary spice. Delicious on the palate, great fruit, a waft of tobacco, lovely balance but still dominant tannins. Like a slightly unkempt teenager - indications of it's adult form combined with a few remnants of the child.
