This is well made wine. Broader than its two cousins, without the amazing drama of Las Cases in 2004, nor the iron of Barton in 2004. Shows its oak more, shows its fruit more, bigger; if you will. Doesn't have quite the same "breed" as its two cousins. But you already knew that.

All that being said, still fantastic claret. Drinking well now, I would imagine it will drink gracefully for 10 more years as well. Much more harmonious and knit together than the 2005. Drink this first in other words.
