Wednesday, December 31, 2014 - NYE just mucking around the house with VK, PH, JH and Mrs L (Kashi Lodge, Niseko, Japan): I've had plenty of this wine in the past year and it has never disappointed. Fruity and complex, with a dark brooding mineral character and slightly creamy edge, this is a classic LP from a very drinkable vintage that is unfortunately sandwiched between two headline-grabbing Bordeaux years -- hence offering terrific value for us drinkers.
