Sunday, January 1, 2012 - Started out nicely, classic chianti cherry flavors with earth and spice. Dusty tannins. Loved the first glass and a half...and then the bottom dropped out. It was like the fruit suddenly disappeared, leaving only earth, wood and tobacco. Seemed like a much older wine than an 07. Have a couple more bottles, hopefully this was just a strange one.
