Sunday, March 11, 2012 - Aerated with Vinturi and decanted for 30 minutes - but needs to be longer. Nice nose of black currant, strawberry, earth, spice, and vanilla. Dark fruit with a strong, fine tannic backbone; leading to a medium length, dry finish. Light-to-medium bodied. Improved with time. Paired with Ravioli. Nice Chianti and a good QPR.
