Wednesday, May 15, 2013 - Overall a very nice wine for the price. Definite old world character on the nose, with some barnyard and earth and funk. Lively fruit -- sour cherry but also some darker fruit tones, good acidity and structure. The tannins still have some bite, and I think this will definitely improve with a few more years in the cellar. Should keep hands off the other bottles for at least 2-3 years.
