Saturday, March 8, 2014 - Its been a while since ive had a wine make me do a double take. The nose on this is intense and attention grabbing with big berry notes, vanilla, beef and smoke. The palate is full bodied and mouth coating. Intense and ever expanding from attack to finish with sharply delineated flavors of bright blackberries, cassis, a little charcoal and teeth gripping tannins. Great wine in its infancy.
