Friday, January 7, 2022 - I have had this bottle in my wine fridge for a good few years and never found the right occassion to open it. But last night was the night! It was slightly cloudy on pouring the first glass, but that was its only fault. I should have let it stand for a day or so. the nose was perfumed and poweful, with a hint of burnt oak. On the palare it was very full, very fruity, great balance, and incredible lenght. What a wine! Its still fresh and lively, and I will not worry about opening my only other bottle for a year or two. What a start of a wine. Thanks Nigel.
