This comes from the second release of this wine, whose specific vineyard origin I don't remember. Tart red berry fruit with some oak spice and a slight walnutty astringency. The balance isn't as good as I recall it being for the first (Halter Ranch) bottling - this has higher acid levels, not much in the way of tannins, and a little alcohol on the finish.

Good overall, and better than this note probably sounds, but still not quite 'together.' No reason to drink up, though, so who knows where this might go...
