Thursday, May 13, 2021 - Color matches a current release Pinot, darker with depth, tawny at bottom layer. Not a simple wine to assess, on the nose strawberry crush over light sherry. Taste of sweet pleasantly tart strawberry, inviting, - must be a young wine - oh wait, a layer of dried well aged medium dry sherry, enables another pour - what exactly is this?
Very few taster's have the opportunity to experience the nuances of well aged Burgundy, Barolo , Sherry, Port, Sauternes fewer an Oregon Pinot.
