A bit more spicy, more herby and less heavy on the fruit and generally on 1998 these guys made one of th Elmore elegant CdP away from the Parker doctrine of use the ripe year to make a bomb ( 2007 we feel has it too in many producers and unsurprisingly not at Clos Des Papes) . Well mannered and well aged and and easy 92.
