Friday, January 31, 2014 - Big full bodied wine. Purple to the rim. Not much of a nose at this stage, however, tons of fruit with a long finish. some Oak but very well integrated. Still some tannins to smooth out but drinking very well for such a young wine with very little of the grappy taste so often found in young california cabs. Two bottles consumed in a weeks time with friends who had the same impression as I did. Will leave this one for a couple of years before I crack the next bottle and drink over the next 10 to 15 years.
