90 Points

Sunday, August 5, 2012 - Tasted 2nd time since 2010 and has held up well perhaps more intense than two years ago. Nice yellow color. Beautiful floral perfumed nose with white melon and orange blossom which echoes on the palate along with grapefruit pith, lemon zest, and very faint bread crust. Mouthwatering acidity and impressive minerality. The mouthfeel is luxurious smooth and rich. The sweetness is off dry and balanced. Finish is of lemon oil and bitter lemon. Muscat can be amazingly complex and I would drink this wine just for the aroma but it has so much more. Alas I hear that this vineyard in Soledad is no more.
