Monday, October 3, 2022 - An off year? Hmmmm.....pnp'd into a decanter about 30 min before dinner tonight with family visiting since the storm took out their power. Homemade meatloaf on the menu.....a little barnyard on the opening but it leaves only 10 minutes in. Nice, smooth red fruit, graphite, a little forest floor and just plain good, especially with meatloaf. What a nice wine for an 'off' year. I am amazed at those who only want to drink 100 point wines and miss so many other good vintages.
