Tuesday, March 19, 2024 - I’ve been making my way through a case of 12 and every bottle seems to get better. Lots of blackcurrant and the tannins melted in, perfect claret. Decanted 2 hours in advance, lovely with charcuterie. Don’t write off years like 2004.

3/21/2024 2:26:00 PM - What a coincidence - I got a case too and agree 100% with your note. Well, except I never have the patience to decant for 2 hrs - I'm usually sipping within 30 mins. Curious - is this the only wine you bought in '04 or do you have other stuff?

3/21/2024 2:31:00 PM - I bought quite a lot of 2004s. Malescot was fantastic and drunk early. La Lagune and Langoa excellent too. Last inexpensive vintage save for 2019.
