Friday, January 4, 2013 - Let this open up for about three hours in the bottle.
Dark plum, cassis, chocolate, earth and slightly used leather saddle.
Palate confirms the dark plum, more leather and touches of spice box. Rich robust long finish. Very big wine.
Still young with a good decade or so left in its life.
A nice '04 showing flamboyant textural aspects that were gorgeous and a little New World.
